The geese are back, and man, are they eating well. I like to start my mornings with a robust walk, and it’s turned into an exercise in agility, dodging all the goose poop along the route. But it’s always a time to clear my head, center my thoughts for the day and have a good conversation with myself. Guess what conclusion I came to today? I am back! The amazing part – you probably never knew I was gone. It’s been two weeks since we returned from our three month venture to Arizona which Continue Reading
Williston, North Dakota
When my friend Kathy suggested we add a side trip to Williston, North Dakota to our return trip from Arizona, I believe I said, “Are you kidding me?” Fortunately, I never said that out loud. They needn’t be, but we wanted to view life in these two towns only separated by a state line, reputedly, still run by Warren Jeffs from his cell block in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Yes, we wanted to see the towns that polygamy made famous. With the brilliant red cliffs as a backdrop, we drove hours on a Continue Reading
