I like long walks on the beach at sunset, candlelit dinners, light jazz, and the fresh smell after a spring rain. Oops, wait, wrong bio. That one never worked.
Actually, I’m a retired Midwesterner pushing the upper limits of middle age on the age-o-meter of life. I love to travel, cook and quilt. And of course, I love to write, as long as it’s not grant applications, performance reviews and annual reports, remnants of my career in the nonprofit world.
I’m in constant search of two things: 1. the humor and joy that is often found in the simple things in life, and 2. a turkey bacon salad sandwich as good as the one served by Britt’s Café in downtown Detroit in the late 80’s.
