Today, I filled up the back of the car and dropped off a load of donations at our charitable resale shop. Phew! That’s the last of it, I am sure. Except I said that last week when I dropped off a batch of can’t find room for you stuff. And the week before that for items that didn’t make the cut. I am almost convinced that we have made as many trips to the resale shop here as we did in Lansing, before the move. How to plug a snake hole
It’s been two weeks since we’ve called Arizona home. One week if you count when the furnishings arrived. In that time, we’ve learned many lessons, from the news, online, and from friends who have experience living in the southwest, especially Carole and Carolyn, our mentors for living here, though they now live in Indiana. If I wrote for HGTV, I’d call our room “authentic, rustic Mexico.” We are staying in a small inn that has five rooms on three levels, and it is easy to imagine it as a beautiful colonial house. If I were to return to San Miguel, I’d probably stay here. The Continue Reading
