In 1982, I stood on the shores of Loch (Lake) Ness in Scotland, and looked out, searching for the Loch Ness monster. I knew it was a crazy notion. That’s it, I’m turning off the news. I’ve had enough, and I can’t watch anymore. Political campaigns? No.Coronavirus? NopeA divided government? No way. Reflections on the border wall
I have hated the concept of a border wall since I first heard about it a few years ago. In my mind, it’s an ugly symbol that says we don’t want you, you’re not welcome here, and we don’t care about your problems. This is contrary to how I’ve always viewed the United States, not to mention my own Christian values. A Most Memorable Holiday
Poof! Just like that, the Christmas holidays are gone. Trees are trashed or stashed, decorations are stored except for the one or two items you forgot after everything else was packed away.
